Our 5 Rules
Reception
The Smartest Giants & The Hungry Caterpillars
Autumn term
This term we are concentrating on getting ourselves dressed and
undressed for the session. Learning the 5 rules and exploring the
forest school area.
First visits to forest school
We are seeing the first signs of Autumn.
Lots of smiling faces while slipping in the mud.
Bobby said "it makes me feel calm" he was swinging in the hammock.
Today we have been using secateurs.
We made giant paintbrushes or broomsticks using the foliage.
Enjoying Autumn!

Let's get outdoors
It is so good to get outdoors! The nights are much lighter and the weather is getting warmer. go out on a family nature walk. What can you see, hear, touch, smell on a walk.

Ideas to do together
- Go on a Bug hunt.
- Make Daisy chains.
-Have a picnic in your garden or local park.
-Press flowers in a heavy book.
-Make a den.
