Mental Health & friendship groups
Twice a week we run groups for children to spend time together, playing games, making new friends, talking about feeling and worries and helping each other to understand what their are feelings are.
The 2nd to the 9th of February 2024 was Mental Health Week. In school we looked at the voice of the child and how this matters. During the week there were lot of opportunities for the children to talk openly and freely. We also held a competition in school to design a SCARF, as the theme for Friday 9th February was wear your SCARF to school day. The word SCARF represents Safety, Caring, Achievement, Resilience and Friendship.
We also raised £195.00 for the Children's Mental Health Charity Place 2 Be.
