Some of our Yr5/6 pupils took part in the Panathlon Bowling Finals at Hollywood Bowl, Bolton. Here, the children competed against 22 other schools! All the children were amazing! They represented Cherry Fold with a huge smile of their faces. So, if you're ever in need of some ten-pin bowling advice, these children are the experts! Well done everyone, Mr Caldecott
Some of our KS2 children took part in a Sports4All event at Burnley College. Here , the children moved around a carousel of sporting activities. Ranging from, throwing, kicking, bouncing and hopping
Some of our Yr 5/6 children took part in a Speedstacking competition at the St Peter's Centre. Here, they used their ultra-fast hand movements, steadiness and teamwork to build, and collapse structures created using stacking cups! It was a very intense and exciting event and a sport which was new to our children. However, they were AMAZING! So much so, that they finished 3rd overall and received medals for their efforts! Well done everyone!
