An exciting day for our STEM club children! A group of children in year 5 and year 6 have been working hard for many weeks to prepare for the STEM Racing Northwest engineering competition which is taking place today. The children designed a poster to share the project in the community, hoping that a local business would be interested in our work and sponsor the team. A parent who works for local company JEWSON Builders Merchants presented our request to the firm and I am delighted to share with you that they offered to sponsor us. On Monday, area manager Steve Martin and our parent champion Naseem Khan came in to school to present the children with T-shirts and hats that we can wear at the competition. We are delighted that we could meet Steve and Naseem and feel really proud to wear our kit. Thank you Jewson Builders Merchants!
