Cherry Fold Reception Unit
Take a look at our amazing Reception Unit
Hello! And a warm welcome to our new families and children!
We are really looking forward to welcoming all of our new reception children this year, and we can't wait to get to know you and see how you will blossom and grow during your time at Cherry Fold.
We offer a place for all to enjoy, respect and succeed.
In our amazing Reception Unit, we believe that the early years are a magical time for exploration, discovery, and growth.
Our vibrant and nurturing environment is designed to spark curiosity and build confidence, ensuring every child feels valued and inspired.
During your child's time with us, your child will:
- Develop strong foundations in early reading, writing, and mathematics through engaging, hands-on activities.
- Explore the world around them through creative play, problem-solving, and outdoor learning.
- Build essential social and emotional skills, learning to share, collaborate, and express themselves confidently.
- Discover their talents through art, music, and imaginative play, fostering creativity and a love for learning.
We create a safe, stimulating space where every child can thrive and take their first steps toward becoming a lifelong learner.
At Cherry Fold we take up to 60 children in our Reception Unit and we have two Reception teachers:
Mrs Elvin our EYFS Lead and PSHE Lead and Miss Stephens our Early Reading Lead and Art Lead.
We also have some amazing Learning Support Assistants who will work with your children during their time in our Reception Unit.
